Wow, so shiny, so beautiful, so strobey.
Strobing, like contouring, isn't new. It's basically highlights on your face to look dewy and radiant AF. As fans of the ~lewk~, we wanted to learn how to do it ourselves.
One of the things that appealed to us about it: it seemed way easier than contouring. Just dab some highlighter here, a little there and you're good to go. But trying it this way usually proved...uh...occasionally disastrous. Or sweaty looking. Or both. Either way, it did not FEEL as easy as we initially believed and I wanted to get to the bottom of it.
First things first: what's so cool about this? Well, highlighter is a great tool to create that "spotlight" effect on your face.
By applying highlighter down the nose and over the cheekbones, you can get that "LOOK AT MY ANGELIC FACE" look. And who doesn't want that?

To simplify the whole thing, Adriana recommended making a "superhero" mask to guide your highlight.
Basically, you just follow the shape of the brow bone/cheek bone. It's all the more fun when you think of it as a superhero mask.
