The MBLM by Tess Holliday collection is tough and sexy, just like its namesake.
You know Tess Holliday. In 2015, the size 22 vixen became the largest model ever signed to a major agency, and has been making headlines ever since.
In addition to starting Eff Your Beauty Standards (a campaign to increase public representation of diverse bodies by encouraging people to share "unapologetic" photos of themselves), Holliday's resume includes landing the cover of People as well modeling for brands like H&M, Torrid, Addition Elle, and Monif C.

Now, the body love activist, mother, and model is adding another title to her list: clothing designer. She's teamed up with Penningtons to launch a line of rocker chic styles in sizes 14 to 32, scheduled for release on March 20.
Ahead of the MBLM by Tess Holliday collection debut, Holliday spoke to BuzzFeed about her inspirations, the current state of plus-size fashion, and her plans for the future.

"My first priority was choosing nice fabrics that felt good, and that didn't necessitate shapewear," Holliday told BuzzFeed. "I wanted effortless pieces that women could throw on and feel good about themselves."
"I wanted everything to be under $100, so it was accessible to as many people as possible. And because plus clothing is really overly designed a lot of the time, I also wanted to keep things simple. "
